Chitkul - Batseri
Our 5th Belong Journeys trip was special in more ways than one. Not only did we have the *maximum number of travelers, but many of them were our **past trip mates* — familiar faces returning to create new memories. The journey itself was epic, taking almost *22 hours of travel*, making it our longest road adventure to date. But as we always say, the joy lies as much in the journey as in the destination — and our traveler was buzzing with games, laughter, and stories that made the hours fly.
Trip Highlights

Riverside Stays & Starry Nights
Our homestay was set in a serene *riverside location, where the sound of flowing water became the perfect backdrop to our evenings. Late-night **bonfires in Chitkul’s crisp air* lit up the nights as we sang, laughed, and shared stories under a starlit sky.

The Last Village of India
One of the highlights was enjoying lunch at the famous *“Aakhri Dhaba of India”*, a bucket-list experience that left us reflecting on resilience and simplicity. We also explored a monastery, saw a traditional **hydro atta chakki, and took a walk to a hidden **step waterfall*, where time seemed to stand still.

Creative Mornings
No Belong Journeys trip is complete without activities that spark creativity and connection. One morning, we strolled down to the riverside for a *tie-dye activity* — a colorful way to bond and express ourselves.
